The Four Churches Festival 2010

Welcome to the fourth Four Churches Festival under the artistic direction of the legendary Rick Wakeman, who has again provided a stellar line up for us.


This year the Festival will be staged in all four churches of the Scole Benefice – Scole itself, Thorpe Abbotts, Billingford and Brockdish and takes place over four days – 27th to 31st May.

As last year we are  holding two performances each at Brockdish and Scole. Rick will join his friends on each of the evenings and the line up for these is:

Thursday 27 May – All Saints, Thorpe Abbotts – 7.30 pm

Roy Hudd – ‘A Fart in a Colander’ – an evening with Roy based on his recent hilarious biography.


Friday 28 May – St Andrew’s Scole – 6.30 and 8.30 pm

‘Call My Bluff’ – the favourite panel game with Rick Wakeman refereeing any squabbles between

a Radio Norfolk team and survivors from ‘Hi-de-Hi’.


Saturday 29 May – St Peter and St Paul, Brockdish – 6.30 and 8.30 pm

The legendary Acoustic Strawbs – Dave Cousins, Chas Cronk and Dave Lambert.


Monday 31 May – St Leonard’s, Billingford – 7.30 pm

An Evening with Tom O’Connor.


Last year was a great success with most performances selling out – so book early and book often.
